For the dinner table

This khutbah reminded us to care for our hearts and prepare to meet Allah with a clean heart. The khateeb said Allah does not hold us accountable for what we cannot control, but our actions and intentions matter. He encouraged us to let Allah’s guidance and the Prophet’s sunnah shape our choices, and to strengthen our hearts through Qur’an and remembrance. When we make mistakes, we can regret them, ask Allah for forgiveness, and make a plan to change with hope in His mercy. He also encouraged us to review our day and clear hatred from our hearts before sleeping, while being grateful for the gift of faith.
