Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

Our speaker reminded us that Allah does not abandon us, even when we have made the same mistake many times. We should never give up hope in Allah's mercy: we should make sincere tawbah, try to change, and return to Him quickly if we slip. We can build this relationship through good deeds, dua, sujood, and simple daily dhikr, while remembering that Allah is always with us. We were also encouraged to notice when someone is struggling and offer gentle, practical help, including around salah.

  1. What is one time this week when you could talk to Allah?
  2. What simple dhikr could we practice together as a family?
  3. How can we help someone who is struggling with prayer?
