For the dinner table

Allah’s mercy is much greater than we can imagine, and it surrounds us in both extraordinary blessings and ordinary moments like breathing, waking, and praying. Even when we sin repeatedly, Allah does not want us to despair; He keeps the door of repentance open. The khutbah encourages us to turn back to Allah immediately instead of waiting for Ramadan or another special occasion. It also teaches that worship is a way of thanking Allah for His gifts. We can show gratitude through prayer, charity, sharing knowledge, helping others, and using our blessings well.
