For the dinner table

We all make mistakes, and the first step is to notice our sins instead of assuming our worship makes us safe. The khutbah reminds us that Allah welcomes sincere repentance, but we must also repair harm done to other people before the Day when deeds are exchanged. Small habits such as gossip, backbiting, arrogance, and careless speech can become spiritually dangerous when repeated. This week, we can ask forgiveness, apologize where needed, guard our tongues, and keep our hearts connected to Allah through remembrance.

  1. What is one small habit we should be more careful about repeating?
  2. How can we make amends when our words or actions hurt someone?
  3. What helps you remember Allah during an ordinary day?
