For the dinner table

Allah calls us every day through prayer, our choices, our blessings, our difficulties, and people who need our help. The khutbah teaches us to renew our relationship with Him by responding quickly to obligations, engaging with the Qur'an, doing sincere private good deeds, and serving others. We should be present where Allah wants us and stay away from what He forbids. When we fall short, Allah's door of repentance remains open, so we should ask forgiveness and make dua with humility.

  1. What might Allah be asking us to notice or do through someone who needs help?
  2. When is a time this week we can slow down and make sincere dua?
