Imam Zakirullah introduced commandments from Surah Al-An'am and focused on five: worshipping Allah alone, kindness to parents, protecting children, avoiding immoral behavior, and respecting human life. He reminded us to do good deeds to please Allah and to watch out for the desire to impress people. He urged us to respect and care for our parents, including when their beliefs differ from ours. He also spoke about trusting Allah for provision and giving children Islamic education that helps them live their daily lives. His reminder that Allah sees both our public and private actions invites us to be thoughtful about our choices, including how we use our phones.
