For the dinner table

This khutbah reminds us that life is temporary and that we should use our time well. Parents are responsible for passing faith, wisdom, and good character to their children, while children should value sincere advice from parents and elders. Luqman's example teaches awareness of Allah, prayer, courage, patience, humility, and gentle manners. The Prophet's guidance adds care for the poor, family ties, truthfulness, and commitment to the Sunnah. We should reflect before acting and try to leave behind people who remember our character with goodness.
