Islam teaches that leadership is not mainly a title or a place at the front of the prayer. A person becomes an imam for the righteous by living well enough that others are inspired by their actions. Every person has a trust at home, at work, or in the community, and Allah will ask how we cared for it. We should not chase authority for comfort or status, but when we are truly qualified and others need our help, we should step forward. The goal is to serve people, put their needs before our own, and share useful knowledge.
