For the dinner table

The imam reminded us that our lives lead toward meeting Allah, and that remembering the afterlife can help us live more thoughtfully today. He urged us to soften our hearts and treat funerals and visits to the cemetery as moments for reflection. Preparing to meet Allah includes good character, feeding people in need, spreading peace, prayer, charity, and fasting. We can begin with small steps and keep building our relationship with Allah. None of us is perfect, so we should seek forgiveness while we have the opportunity and keep asking Allah for mercy and guidance.

  3. When you make a mistake, what helps you say sorry and ask Allah for forgiveness?
