Every deed will be judged by God
In one sentence

Quotes
In the khateeb's words
“It's a great blessing. Great blessing. Okay. And you are I. We're going to be asked about that.”
“So don't think You're gonna get away by just pointing to the email. I'm supposed to know. No, you're supposed to know.”
Talk about it at home
For the dinner table
The khateeb encouraged us to look honestly at our choices and ask what is driving them. He reminded us that we are responsible for our own deeds and cannot simply put that responsibility on a religious leader. He described our upright bodies as a blessing and a reminder to live uprightly within our souls too. Caring for ourselves includes managing our habits, desires, and inner lives. He also spoke about our thirst for knowledge, understanding, and righteousness, urging us to recognize misleading messages and seek what truly nourishes us.
- What is one choice today that you could understand better by asking, “Why did I do that?”
- What would acting uprightly look like when a friend is being treated unfairly?
- What is something you learned recently that helped you become kinder or more responsible?
