For the dinner table

Mufti Bilal reminded us that Jumu'ah is a special opportunity to receive Allah's forgiveness and blessings. He encouraged us to bathe for Friday and to make wudu carefully, fulfilling its sunnahs and preparing at home when possible. During the khutbah, he emphasized listening attentively, remaining silent, and putting aside distractions such as phones or things we might play with. He explained that the hadith promises forgiveness of minor sins between one Friday and the next, plus another three days, for those who prepare and listen as described. As a family, we can help one another arrive ready and show care and respect in Allah's house.
