Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

The khutbah teaches that Allah created people for worship, but worship is broader than formal prayer and fasting. Serving others, showing good manners, loving family, and controlling anger can all become worship when done to draw near to Allah. It describes good deeds as Hussainiyyat and sins as Yazidiyyat, urging us to choose goodness in daily life. It also reminds us that people make mistakes, but Allah’s mercy remains open through sincere repentance. We can carry this intention into our homes, work, and relationships after Jumu’ah.
