For the dinner table

The khutbah teaches that family relationships are responsibilities entrusted to us by Allah. Even when relatives hurt us or disagree with us, we should try to reopen communication, forgive, and maintain respect, especially toward parents. The khateeb also explained a Prophetic dua for anxiety, sadness, weakness, fear, laziness, stinginess, debt, and feeling overpowered. Trusting Allah means focusing on the actions within our control while leaving the results to Him. When Allah gives us blessings, we should show gratitude by sharing good and helping others.
