The khutbah reminds us that every Muslim carries responsibility for guiding and caring for the next generation. Children learn Islam from our actions, tone, patience, and presence, not only from our instructions. We should give them attention, protect family time from distracting screens, choose good companions, and speak gently when correcting them. We are also encouraged to study the Qur’an and Islamic knowledge together, remembering that nurturing righteous children can continue benefiting us after death.
