For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah invited us to notice Allah’s blessings and generosity, especially His mercy through the angels. The khateeb described angels protecting us by Allah’s will, recording our deeds, and praying for our forgiveness. He encouraged us to think about how we spend our mornings and evenings, making time for prayer and remembering Allah even when family life gets busy. He reminded us to do good sincerely and steadily, following a moderate path we can keep up. He also urged us to continue praying for people facing suffering and illness.

  1. What blessing from Allah did you notice today, and how could you show gratitude for it?
  2. Who would you like us to remember in our dua tonight, and what would you ask Allah for them?
