For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah reminded us that Islamic civilization’s legacy includes learning, justice, compassion, and care for others. The khateeb described a community where people shared responsibility and respected one another’s rights. He encouraged Muslims to carry that spirit forward through education, useful work, creativity, and help for people in need. He also reminded us that unity grows when we come together and support one another. As a family, we can put these lessons into practice by working hard, keeping our hearts attached to Allah, and choosing a helpful action we can take together.
