For the dinner table

Sha'ban is a chance to get our hearts ready for Ramadan. The khateeb reminded us that our deeds are continually recorded and encouraged us to ask Allah for help, make dua, fast, and return to the Quran. He also urged those who owe zakat to give it in Sha'ban and research where people are most in need. Loving the Prophet means showing it through worship, good manners, following his Sunnah, and leaving what Allah prohibited. We should make these preparations with patience, hope, and care for others.
