“I'm going to use this opportunity to spread your message.”

The khateeb, at 12:16

For the dinner table

Today’s reminder was that Jumu'ah should be honored by arriving on time and putting worship ahead of business. The speaker also urged us to pray the five daily prayers on time and to ask Allah for a heart that can practice and share the Qur'an. He said the blessings and opportunities we receive should lead us to serve others and teach with good character. Loving the Prophet means following his mission of bringing guidance and kindness, not merely expressing love in words. We should speak respectfully with people of other faiths and help replace fear and hate with understanding.

  1. What could our family change so we arrive at Jumu'ah and pray on time?
  2. How can we share something from the Qur'an through our actions this week?
