For the dinner table

The khateeb used a familiar courtroom to help us imagine the Day when every person stands alone before Allah. He reminded us that prayer, our choices, our wealth, our knowledge, and even our body parts will testify about how we lived. The sermon urged us to prepare through sincere worship, lawful earning, private remembrance, and care for other people’s rights. It ended by reminding us to be grateful for Islam and to hope in Allah’s mercy and the Prophet’s intercession.
