The Quran transforms individuals, families, and communities when Muslims treat it as a guidance manual for a demanding mission, studying, reflecting, praying, and acting on it rather than merely reciting it or checking off basic obligations.

For the dinner table

Today the khateeb reminded us that everything we have comes from Allah, and sharing our blessings is one way to thank Him. He described the Quran as a treasure that we should read thoughtfully, looking for guidance we can put into practice. He explained that the companions understood their faith as a responsibility to become better people and bring goodness and justice to others. Their demanding work made Quran study and prayer a source of strength they needed regularly. He encouraged us to hope in Allah's mercy while remaining humble about our efforts, and reminded us that it is never too late to begin changing.
