For the dinner table

The imam taught that our lives are a limited capital, and every day gives us another chance to invest in what brings us closer to Allah. He described love of Allah, hope in His mercy, and fear of displeasing Him as qualities that help protect our faith. Putting Allah first means not allowing possessions, family, phones, or social life to make us neglect salah or proper masjid manners. He encouraged us to notice everyday blessings, from breathing and eating to water and mountains, so that gratitude grows into love. Since death is certain, we should prepare by drawing closer to Allah and asking forgiveness every day.
