For the dinner table

Our most important identity is that we are Muslims and members of the ummah of Prophet Muhammad. The Qur'an describes this community as people who submit to Allah, live a balanced life, and call one another toward good. Balance means caring for worship while also honoring our bodies, families, responsibilities, and wider community. We should make faith welcoming, respect differences, and resist racism and sectarianism that divide us. The khutbah asks us to unite around faith and show its values through wise, compassionate action.

  2. How can we make someone feel welcomed instead of pushed away?
  3. What helps people from different backgrounds stay united?
