Make worship the purpose of your life

“Isn't this what having a purpose is?”

The khateeb, at 18:51

For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us that salah is our foundation and that believers should live with purpose. He explained that we should turn away from sinful things and from words and actions that bring no benefit. Our conversations can build friendship and kindness, but we need to watch that they do not drift into gossip or hurtful rumors. He also shared how Abu Bakr continued helping someone who had hurt his family, showing the importance of forgiveness. Finally, he encouraged us to care for our time and use our lives, knowledge, wealth, and health in ways that please Allah.
