Tonight’s khutbah centered on advice attributed to Imam Hasan al-Mujtaba about preparing for the hereafter. We should remember death, use today’s opportunities, and avoid letting wealth or future worries distract us from what matters. We should earn and use money lawfully, take what is sufficient, and treat extra wealth as a trust that can benefit others. Imam Hasan’s generosity toward poor guests showed how these teachings become actions. The sermon concluded that true honor comes from obeying Allah, not from status, power, or family name.

  2. How can our family use something we have to help someone else this week?
