For the dinner table

Today’s sermon reminded us that prayer deserves care: we should learn its correct form, let our bodies become still, and recite clearly. In congregation, we should follow the imam rather than anticipate him, straighten our rows, and make room for children and other worshippers. The speaker also encouraged us to keep obligatory worship visible as a community standard while nurturing private extra worship, timely prayer, adhan attentiveness, and dua after prayer. He especially recommended making Tasbih Fatima al-Zahra a regular habit and teaching it to children. Finally, he urged us to use our temporary life for repentance and good deeds, while remembering and praying for those who have died.
