For the dinner table

Imam Abdul-Hafiz encouraged us to approach the Qur'an with humble hearts, turn back to Allah, and put what we learn into practice. He urged us to read every day and begin preparing for Ramadan by improving our habits and how we treat others. He reminded us that life is precious and tomorrow is not promised, so we should begin doing good now. For those carrying worries, he encouraged trust in Allah, patience, and gratitude for waking up today. He also called on us to care for one another, talk openly about mental health, and learn how to fulfill our family responsibilities with sincerity and respect.

  1. What is something you felt grateful for today, even if the day was hard?
  2. Who could use some kindness or support from our family this week?
