For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah reminded us that love for Prophet Muhammad is shown by following his example. The speaker urged us to protect the five daily prayers, turn back to Allah when life feels difficult, and use the last part of the night for repentance and dua. He also reminded us not to ignore Muslims who are suffering, but to feel their pain and pray for them. A bedridden woman’s wish to make two rak‘ahs showed how precious prayer is. We can begin with one sincere act of obedience and one heartfelt prayer for others.
