For the dinner table

The khutbah reminds us that Muslims in Sudan, India, Palestine, and Gaza are suffering, and we should remember them in dua and learn about their struggles. It teaches that hardship does not mean Allah has abandoned believers; faith means staying firm while trusting that justice and victory belong to Allah. We are still responsible for our part, even when our actions seem small: make dua, give support within our capacity, educate ourselves, care for our faith, and do not let despair stop us. Young people are urged not to forget Palestine and to learn its history, including through Surah al-Isra. The message is to keep doing good and encourage others, leaving results to Allah.

  1. What is one small good action we can keep doing even when we cannot see the result?
  2. How can we learn about Palestine without forgetting the people who are suffering today?
  3. What does it mean to support someone with our time, money, knowledge, or dua?
