For the dinner table

The khutbah reminds us that Allah gives us many chances to return to Him, and that repentance should lead to real action. The first ten days of Dhul Hijjah are among the most honored days of the year, so we should not let them pass like ordinary days. For the remaining days, we can increase takbir and other dhikr, make tawbah, and fast on the Day of Arafah if able. The speaker also encouraged remembering Allah while working and treating neighbors respectfully by following road rules. The goal is to honor what Allah honored and make these days our best.

  1. How can we remember Allah while doing ordinary things like shopping or working?
  2. What makes fasting on Arafah feel like an opportunity rather than a burden?
