For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah reminded us to notice Allah’s blessings before they are gone. The speaker remembered how ordinary access to Medina, Umrah, and the Prophet’s Mosque once felt, and how precious it became after moving away. He also thanked Shaykh Muhammad for years of care, teaching, and personal attention to the community. We can practice this lesson by naming our blessings, appreciating people who serve us, and showing gratitude while we still have the chance.

  1. What blessing do you enjoy so often that you might forget to appreciate it?
  2. Who has helped you recently, and how could you thank them?
  3. What is one blessing you want to remember tomorrow?
