For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah reminded us that belonging to the Ummah of Muhammad is a great honor, but also a responsibility. We are called to stay connected to the Quran and Sunnah, practice faith with balance, care honestly for people, and stand for justice. These qualities should show up in our homes, workplaces, schools, and communities, not only in our words. We will make mistakes, but sincere intentions and steady effort can bring us back to Allah. We should also remember people who are suffering, including in Palestine and Sudan, and respond with prayer, support, and compassionate action.
