For the dinner table

The khutbah teaches that Allah wants us to slow down, reflect, and notice the signs around us. Our health, time, abilities, and possessions are trusts, not things to use without responsibility. We should not let worldly goals become our only concern, because our real success is preparing for the hereafter. Every day and every breath is an opportunity to worship, help others, and grow closer to Allah. We can begin by setting sincere spiritual goals and using our remaining time well.
