Share Islam through wisdom and example

“You are doing your role in this world to convey the message of Allah.”

The khateeb, at 19:44

In one sentence

Because Allah has placed Muslims where they are for a purpose, they should protect their faith and character, learn from the Quran and authentic Sunnah, and patiently share Islam through wise words and example.

For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us that being Muslim is a great blessing and that our lives and locations have purpose. We should learn our religion from the Quran and authentic Sunnah, strengthen our character, and avoid presenting Islam through our own mistakes. Every Muslim can share something good, but we should speak carefully, ask knowledgeable people when unsure, and remain patient. We should also treat non-Muslims with mercy because they are human beings who may be changed by a kind and wise word. Our responsibility is to convey goodness faithfully, even when we do not immediately see results.

  1. Where do you think you can share goodness or kindness this week?
  2. What is one part of your character you would like to improve before representing Islam to others?
  3. How can we speak about Islam with both confidence and mercy?
