For the dinner table

Friday is our weekly Eid and one of the greatest opportunities each week to turn back to Allah. The khutbah reminded us that living around non-Muslim customs and busy work schedules can slowly make us careless, so we should protect our faith and arrange our time around worship. We can honor Friday by attending Jumu’ah, praying Fajr in congregation, making dua during the special hour, reading Surah al-Kahf, and sending blessings on the Prophet. The point is not only to know Friday’s virtues, but to act on them together as a family.

  1. What is one way we can make Friday feel special in our family?
  2. Which Friday practice would you like us to do together?
  3. How can we protect our faith when people around us practice differently?
