For the dinner table

The khutbah reminded us that Islam and faith are a greater treasure than money, status, or comfort. Life is meant to be used for worship and for deeds that lead to Jannah, especially through prayer, fasting, Quran, generosity, and service. Ramadan is a season of mercy and forgiveness, so we should ask Allah to forgive us and release grudges against others. We can be grateful for comfort without making it our purpose, and we should trust Allah when powerful people or painful events make the world feel frightening. The sermon closed by praying for Muslims and innocent people suffering in several places.

  1. What kind of wealth lasts forever, even when money and possessions are gone?
  2. What Ramadan action, prayer, Quran, generosity, or forgiveness, do you want our family to practice?
  3. How can we stay grateful and hopeful when the world feels unjust?
