Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

Today’s khutbah used the story of the people of ʿAd to show how strength, wealth, and prosperity can produce arrogance and oppression. Allah may give an oppressor time and even apparent success, but delay is not approval or safety. The warning is not only about governments or nations; it begins with how we treat people in our own homes and communities. We should reject arrogance, rely on Allah, and use our strength and resources to stand against injustice. Like Prophet Hud, we can remain firm even when worldly power seems overwhelming.
