For the dinner table

The khateeb reminded us that taqwa means fearing Allah and hoping in His mercy, and letting that awareness guide our everyday choices. He spoke about harm to the earth and suffering in Palestine and Sudan, urging us to take our responsibilities seriously. He warned that media can mislead us or distract us from people who need help. He reminded us that prayer and fasting can renew our hearts when the world feels overwhelming. His message was to keep making du'a, speaking up, and supporting relief efforts, while asking Allah for strength and better leadership.
