For the dinner table

Today's khutbah described ten major signs before the Day of Judgment, including Dajjal, the return of Isa, and Ya'juj and Ma'juj. The khateeb reminded us that only Allah knows when the Hour will come, and encouraged us to strengthen our faith now. He warned that weak faith, lack of knowledge, and too much attachment to worldly life can leave people vulnerable to deception. He encouraged learning our beliefs, reading Surah Al-Kahf on Fridays, memorizing its first ten verses, and asking Allah for protection. His closing reminder was personal: our own qiyamah begins with death, so we should prepare by strengthening our iman and following the teachings of the Prophet.

  1. What is one question about our faith that you would like us to learn about together?
  2. How could we help each other read, listen to, or memorize a little of Surah Al-Kahf this week?
  3. What is one good action you want to make time for today?
