The khateeb, at 25:27

Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

The khutbah teaches that Allah cares about the sincerity behind our deeds, not our appearance, wealth, or public reputation. Charity, teaching, worship, and kindness only have lasting value when they are done for Allah rather than for praise. We should nurture relationships out of love for Allah, make time for private remembrance, and return to Allah through sincere repentance. Our goal should be pleasing Allah in everything we do.
