For the dinner table

Imam Siraj Wahaj reminded us that being Muslim is a blessing that comes with a responsibility to help others. He emphasized that our care should reach all people, including those who do not share our faith. Through stories about his masjid’s work against drugs in its neighborhood, he showed how a community can make a difference through service. He asked us to consider who benefits from our spending and to remember the life of the hereafter when choosing our priorities. He also shared how he accepted help correcting his prayer direction, giving us a simple example of humility. His invitation was to be grateful for our faith and put it into action.
