For the dinner table

Coming closer to Allah is not about physical distance, but about the state of our hearts, our obedience, our love, and our humility. The khutbah tells us to begin with our obligations, especially praying on time with care and presence. We can then grow through voluntary worship, learning the deen, reading the Quran and Sunnah, remembering Allah, making dua, and treating people well. We should leave sins, seek forgiveness, and keep returning to Allah when Shaytan pulls us away. This lifelong journey brings peace and hope, while also calling us to pray for relief and victory for our suffering brothers and sisters in Gaza.
