For the dinner table

Imam Taha reminded us to thank Allah for another Ramadan and ask Him to accept our efforts. We may not keep Ramadan's pace all year, but we can continue small, regular acts of prayer, fasting, and charity. When we keep doing good, we should be grateful and humble rather than judge other people. If we feel disappointed in our Ramadan, we can seek Allah's forgiveness, ask for guidance, and make a fresh effort with hope in His mercy. Eid is also a time to worship Allah through gratitude and celebration, while keeping those who are suffering in our hearts and standing against injustice.

  1. What small good deed would you like our family to keep doing after Ramadan?
  2. When doing the right thing feels difficult, what helps you try again?
  3. How could we share our Eid happiness with someone who is having a hard time?
