For the dinner table

The khutbah centered on a man who asked the Prophet when the Day of Judgment would come, and the Prophet redirected him toward what he had prepared for it. The khateeb encouraged us to remember Allah, follow mistakes with good deeds, and treat everyone with good character. He reminded us that love for Allah and His Messenger should inspire sincere actions, rather than become an excuse to do less. The promise that people will be with those they love brought the companions great joy and gives us hope as we try to grow. Finally, he urged us to welcome people who are struggling and make the masjid a place of care rather than condemnation.
