Talk about it at home
For the dinner table
The khutbah taught that faith is not just a label; it involves what we believe, say, and do. It encouraged us to share what we believe, keep trying with patience, and avoid measuring our worth by immediate results. The speaker reminded us that some prophets had no followers, so a small turnout does not automatically mean failure. We should not look down on people who are still searching; instead, we can hope for their guidance and ask Allah to use us for good.
- When have you learned that doing your best matters even without seeing immediate results?
- How can we encourage someone respectfully without making them feel judged?
- What does it mean to be a means of guidance for someone else?
