Talk about it at home

For the dinner table

Allah has given us what we need in this world, and He has also shown us how to prepare for the life after death. Just as people save for retirement, believers should invest in faith, worship, generosity, and good character for the Hereafter. The Sharia is presented as loving guidance, even when a command feels difficult. Qualities such as haya, ghayrah, taqwa, and adab are learned by seeing them practiced in families and communities, not only by reading about them. We should use the beneficial classes and programs around us and make dua for believers facing hardship.

  2. Which quality, haya, taqwa, or good manners, would you like to see more clearly at home?
