Imam Jawad Ahmed reminded us that Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, was sent as a mercy to all the worlds. He spoke about the suffering in Gaza and Lebanon and shared how the faith and patience of people in Gaza have inspired others to learn about Islam. He encouraged us to trust Allah through hardship and look for opportunities to share our faith. Our responsibility, he explained, is to help people understand Islam, while guidance belongs to Allah. As a family, we can begin by making dua for our neighbors, showing mercy in our daily lives, and speaking thoughtfully about what we believe.

  1. What is one way you could show mercy to a person or an animal this week?
  2. If a friend asked what helps you trust Allah during a hard time, what would you share?
  3. Which neighbor or classmate could we make dua for tonight, and how could we show them kindness?
