For the dinner table

Today's khutbah reminded us that we will stand before Allah and answer for how we lived. The khateeb described the happiness of those who receive their book in their right hand after preparing for that meeting. He encouraged us to value the time we have now and look for every chance to do good, including giving, smiling, offering salam, and treating people kindly. He also told a story about a sincere declaration of faith to show how much sincerity can matter. As a family, we can encourage each other to do good today and be careful with words that might hurt someone.
