For the dinner table

The khutbah reminded us that our life, body, family, time, knowledge, and wealth are trusts from Allah. One day we will answer for how we spent our life and youth, where our money came from, how we used it, and whether we practiced what we learned. We should use our younger years for worship, learning, service, family, and the Muslim community instead of wasting them. We should earn and spend lawfully, care for our health, and balance religious practice with the rights of our bodies and families. The sermon encouraged us to review ourselves now and ask Allah for help before the Day of Judgment.
