For the dinner table

The khutbah taught that Allah’s mercy gives human beings both the Qur’an’s information and Muhammad’s example for living it. The speaker encouraged us to learn, think independently, and not let technology or busyness do all our thinking for us. He reminded us that every child of Adam is noble and that faith, joined with people who believe and work together, can build a community from very little. This week, we can make Jumu’ah a priority, spend time with the Qur’an, and pray with awareness that Allah sees our hearts.

  1. What is one thing you can think through for yourself instead of letting technology decide?
  2. How can our family show that every person is noble and honorable?
  3. What could we build together if we combined faith and teamwork?
