For the dinner table

Rajab is a sacred month and a chance to prepare our hearts for Ramadan by increasing worship and remembering Allah. The khutbah emphasized the five daily prayers, silence and attentiveness during Friday prayer, and the mercy behind the prayer's reward. It also reminded us to speak kindly, fulfill people's rights, and repair harm before we meet Allah. We were encouraged to learn our deen, build practical support within the community, and teach young people essential skills. New Muslims especially need patient guidance and friendship, because welcoming someone into Islam also means helping them grow.
